Ein weiterer Vorteil ist die hohe Resistenz gegen CGMMV (Gurkengrünscheckungsmosaik-Virus). Die lange Gurke Verdon ist für die hohe Drahtkultur mit Assimilationslicht sowie für die Bodenkultur geeignet
